Our School Board is formed with members of our community who serve in a voluntary capacity.  Their role is to work with the school community to achieve the best outcomes for our students.  Our Board members play an important role in contributing to good school governance so that school resources are used efficiently, and community expectations and the school's priorities reflect the needs of our students.

Matej Nvota

We are delighted to introduce Matej Nvota, our School Board Chair. Matej is an experienced Marketing Professional with over 20 years of marketing consulting experience across finance, real estate, building and construction, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods and mining industries. He’s been married to his wife Teresa for 20 years and they have two children together. His younger son is currently a student at Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre. Matej joined the Board in late 2018 and looks after the marketing portfolio.

Marianne Mangano

Marianne commenced at Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre in 2011 and during that time has had a variety of roles such as Senior School Teacher, Senior School Deputy, Middle School Deputy and currently as Principal. Marianne passionately promotes a culture that provides for the whole student recognising that physical, emotional, and intellectual needs are all interconnected, and as a school, we embrace the different learning styles that each student presents. Working together with our community is crucial to achieving success for all students and creating a community where all members feel respected, included and appreciated

Sabine Heise

Sabine came to Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre in 2009 as an Education Assistant. Working with students in all year groups, she discovered a passion for providing students with a great education. Sabine commenced her studies at Curtin University in 2014 and after 4 years transitioned to teaching in 2018. She has been employed as a teacher at Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre since 2019.

“Being passionate about quality education, I lead the Digital Technology Curriculum development with our middle school teachers.” Sabine is currently working on her Master of Education – Leading Education

Justine Coleman

Justine is one of the newest members to join our School Board. Justine owns a small family run bouncy Castle company called Perth Bounce. She is a mother of two beautiful girls that attend Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre.

“Since my girls have started this school they have thrived and I'm happy to be part of the School Board to make it even better.”

Maddie

Maddie started at W.C.H.S ESC in Year 7 in 2017 and is finishing this year in Year 12. She was selected to be the school captain and has said it has been an enjoyable and great experience to be able to lead the school department so she can overcome her fears of talking in front of large crowds. It’s given her the confidence and skills to help prepare her for life outside of school.

“While I have been going through my journey, I have loved developing friendships with other students and I have had a wonderful, friendly and supportive role models with that I have had for the last 6 years. The school has given me great opportunities in what place I wanted to do for WPL.

Through the different years, I have loved the fantastic memories of school camps and excursions. With the different subjects over the years my favourite subjects has been Math’s. I did a Cert 2 in Hospitality at the South Metropolitan Tafe in Mandurah and this has shown me which direction of the workforce that I want to go ahead to.”

Rori

Rori started at Warnbro Community High School ESC in 2017 as a year 7 student. In his early years of high school he faced many challenges including new environment, friends, staff and new ways of learning, during his transition into high school he formed new friendships, supported by his teachers and EA’s to learn and grow into the young man he is today.

Now that he is in his final year of high school he enjoys coming to school, hanging out with awesome people. He has developed his skills ready to enter into the community with his passion of fitness and regularly trains at the local gym and school gym, Rori also enjoys eating healthy and looking after his health and well-being.

Rori’s aim is to graduate from high school and further my education in genetics, social science and technology.
