Vocational Education and Training (VET)

VET programs provide opportunities for our students to gain nationally recognised qualifications, along with workplace experience and skills, while attending school.  Different VET courses are offered in Years 10, 11 and 12 facilitating and supporting students in acquiring qualifications from a range of industries.

VET programs provide support for students to access courses in readiness for the world of work.  The VET sector is industry driven, allowing industry to indicate the skills and knowledge needed and qualifications are linked to specific job roles.  VET is aligned to identify industry skill requirements and skill shortage areas.

At Warnbro CHS Education Support Centre we analyse the past employment trends of our students post school and current industry trends to make informed decisions on the most relevant VET courses to be offered each year. The students enroll in courses which improve employability potential and sustainability within specific industry areas.
